We are delighted to recognise the achievements of students across AET’s academies at A-level and equivalent vocational qualifications. Results across AET’s 18 academies offering post-16 education have taken a small but distinct step forward, in line with national trends. Results at the top end are particularly encouraging in both A level and vocational qualifications, with 55% of entries achieving an A*- B grade (compared to 43% in 2016).
Beverley Perin, Director of Challenge and Intervention, said: ‘In a year where national results look to have edged forward, we’re very pleased that AET has contributed to this trend and, indeed, shown above average improvement. Some of our academies, and many of our students, have achieved really outstanding results and we are very proud of them. We wish all our students the very best as they move on to new destinations.’ Individual success stories can be found here. |
