The step up from primary to secondary school can feel daunting at times but hundreds of thousands of pupils preparing for the move this autumn can be reassured that big school is a fun place to learn thanks to a new documentary series on CBBC.

'Our School 2' follows the fortunes of Year 7 students at AET's Greenwood Academy in Birmingham as they settle in to their new learning environment, making new friends as they do.

The commentary is delivered by Trev, a one time former pupil at the school and now Head of Performing Arts and Events. In the first episode we meet Eesa from the Middle East who had never been to school before and only speaks Arabic, but faces his new challenges with a confident smile and willing support from classmates.

We are introduced to the youngest and smallest pupil, Libby, a self-confessed sports fanatic and Vanessa who already has ambitions to become a lawyer. We follow Archie's first day at Greenwood and meet Taylor-Jay. a star struck singer and performer determined to make the big time.

'Our School 2' is broadcast every Tuesday at 5:00pm on CBBC. For a limited time you can view the first episode via this link.
