Trinity Primary Academy in north London has been awarded the Early Years and Primary Quality Mark by the Basic Skills Agency to reflect the school's continuous improvement in literacy and numeracy.
A detailed assessment over two days examined the school's performance and included 'learning walks' and interviews with staff, pupils and parents. The main principles of the process of involving the whole school community, self-review and targeted intervention are an essential part of a school's relentless drive for self improvement.
The Early Years and Primary Quality Mark is a fitting reward for Trinity's provision and practice in the key areas of literacy and numeracy and is valid for three years.
Well done everyone at Trinity!
