Professor Deborah Eyre



Professor Deborah Eyre is an educational leader, academic researcher, writer and influencer in the fields of high-performing students and high-performing schools. She is currently Founder of the High Performance Learning organisation which helps schools move from good to great. Her leadership experience spans both the public and private sectors, and includes serving as Global Education Director for Nord Anglia Education, and Director of the National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth.

Previously she served on the boards of the Training and Development Agency for Schools and the National College, and on the respective Advisory Boards for the Centre for Talented Youth in Baltimore and in Dublin. She has been an adviser to governments and educational foundations in the UK, Hong Kong, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, the USA and Singapore.

Deborah holds a professorship at Oxford Brookes University, is an Honorary Professor at the University of Warwick, a Freeman of the City of London Worshipful Company of Educators, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
