  • Cultivate and promote an inclusive culture that maximises the talent, skills and diversity within our workforce.

Success criterion:


Analysis of trust-wide data pupil indicates that:

    • Outcomes for children and young people with protected characteristics are on an improving trajectory and suitably ambitious

    • All pupils, including those with protected characteristics, feel that they belong in their school, that they have good relations with others and that they feel supported in achieving their goals

    • If incidents of prejudice and/ or hate crimes occur they are robustly dealt with

    • Leaders report that training sufficiently supports them to give due regard to their duties under the PSED and Equality Act 2010


Analysis of AET workforce data indicates that:

    • There is equality of opportunity between those who share a protected characteristic and those who do not

    • Staff engagement levels for those who share a protected characteristic and those who do not are broadly similar

    • If incidents of workplace discrimination, harassment and victimisation and other conduct prohibited under the Equality Act 2010 occur they are dealt with robustly
