SLE Specialism: Attendance & Behaviour & Discipline

Clarissa is Assistant Headteacher at The Rawlett School in Tamworth. She has taught in different parts of the country including Cardiff, Bristol and Walsall, giving her a breadth of experience in a variety of contexts. Prior to her appointment to senior leadership, she was a successful Head of English.

She has overall responsibility for Inclusion; leading on Behaviour and Safety, Attendance, Pupil Premium and SEND. Thus her role is about ensuring that vulnerable students achieve their potential. As part of this, she leads the pastoral and SEND teams, as well as teachers, and works collaboratively with other leaders and agencies in Tamworth to secure provision and outcomes for all.
