The Stimulating Physics Network is a Department for Education funded project managed by the Institute of Physics in partnership with Myscience. It aims to achieve a step-change in the culture of physics education. It's currently recruiting link schools across England, a new model in which teaching schools (and similar organisations) act as regional hubs for physics continuous professional development.

They will train and fund a member of your staff (up to £1,500 a year) to run physics workshops. They'll also provide administration and evaluation for their activities. All you need to do is supply any equipment or facilities needed, and promote the workshops within your network of schools.

If you are interested in finding out if you are eligible to join the Network make an expression of interest by no later than 31 January 2015 or to request a no-cost CPD workshop at your school, contact your local Physics Network Coordinator
