In January 2014, NCTL and Stonewall will launch a fully funded cohort of up to 36 places (4 per sub-region) to provide middle leaders in teaching schools with all the tools and techniques needed to train staff on tackling bullying (focusing particularly on homophobic bullying) and celebrating diversity.

The training also provides support on how to meet the requirements under the new Ofsted inspection framework. The aim of this training is to develop a team of regional ‘experts’ who are then well equipped to train staff within their alliance and beyond.

Expressions of interest for the funded places will be invited in January 2014. Visit the Stonewall website to find out more about what the training will entail and its key benefits.
