Academy Results 2012

The provisional results released this week for the 17 Academies within the AET Family of schools reveal the continued upward trend in attainment across the Trust.

The results reveal that 47% of students have achieved five A* to C grades including English and Maths compared to 39% as the predecessor schools.

Whilst the change in the GCSE threshold this year is reflected in this years results the work and dedication by the staff and students within the AET Academies is reflected in the overall increase.

East Point Academy achieved a 42% increase in the number of students achieving 5 or more A* to C, an exceptional achievement for the Academy.

The upward trend continued at Greensward Academy with 78% of students achieving A*to C including English and Maths.
