Community Sports

The vision through the role of the Community Sports Development Manager is to support the achievement and development of young people through participation and excellence in sport and involvement in the community, in order to produce world class outcomes both within our academy family and beyond.

This will be achieved through:

The ongoing support and development of Gifted and Talented students through sport and the partnership with elite sports stars to use as mentors to give our young people the best advice possible.

All students taking part in 2 hours of quality PE within our academies as well as accessing community clubs through partnerships provided by our academies.

Collaboration and partnership with Professional athletes and clubs to raise the aspirations of our young people and to follow their dreams.

The development of ‘AET Lions’, where our top sports students from across all academies compete against other academies/ schools/districts/countries

The promotion of the Junior Sports Leaders Programme, empowering students to lead and coach others whether within their own academies or local primary schools.

Through the website, there will be updates from all our academies PE departments as well as links to our partners who are helping to achieve all the above.
