Privacy Notice
It is very healthy for our young people to take part in sporting competition and there are many life skills they can pick up along the way name:
- Teamwork
- Encouragement
- Commitment
- How to win
- How to lose
- Sportsmanship
Throughout the past two years there have been various sports competitions arranged for our young people to take part in and compete against our other academies.
You can see pictures from these previous events on this website.
Academies can arrange their own competitions for the other academies to take part in and these will be sponsored by the AET

AET Athletics
To end the academic year, the AET hosted its first ever Athletics competition at Lee Valley Athletics Centre in which all seven academies plus Bexleyheath entered a squad. The competition was fierce but always fair and the weather was favourable. Overall Greensward Academy won each competition with the other places being spread across the board. We were very lucky to have Ian Foster and Montell Douglas to present the trophies.
