The proposed admissions policies for entry to Sandown Bay and Ryde Academies in 2013 include changes to the oversubscription criteria included in our current admissions policies. These changes are being made at the request of the Isle of Wight Council to ensure a consistent approach to priority areas across the local authority.

We are pleased to confirm that we have been awarded the disability symbol accreditation by Jobcentre Plus.
The symbol is made up of two ticks and the words 'positive about disabled people'. You will see it displayed on all our job adverts and application forms.

Plans for Ashingdon Primary, Plumberow Primary and Westerings Primary Schools to become Academies have been officially confirmed by Secretary of State for Education, Rt. Hon. Michael Gove MP.
From today they have become state funded, independent schools under the sponsorship of the Hockley based Academies Enterprise Trust. They will be called Ashingdon Primary Academy, Plumberow Primary Academy and Westerings Primary Academy.
