Jamie has spent the early part of his career working as an IT Technician and Helpdesk Engineer around the country. Jamie has spent the last 2 years studying for his Level 3 IT Support. Jamie is very excited to be joining the AET.

Derek has worked in the education sector for 32 years, rising to Vice Principal level. Throughout this time Derek has developed skills in teaching and adult training, course writing and
development. He comes with a wealth of experience in running facilities divisions within academies. Derek is absolutely delighted to be joining AET Central Services, as Regional Facilities and National Training Manager.

Natalie joins the AET as PA to Zoe Goodwin (Director of Leadership & Professional Development) & Beverley Perin (Director of Challenge & Intervention) and Administrative Assistant to the Education Team. Natalie has six year’s experience in administrative/secretarial support and has most recently worked at St John Payne Catholic School in Chelmsford as VLE & Reports Administrator for almost four years.

Toby joined the AET in June 2012. He is primarily responsible for the production of video based marketing, training and promotional material for academies and AET professional services. Toby came to the AET after working in health care for four years where he was a care assistant for physically disabled adults. During this time, Toby contributed his knowledge of film production to a school play, which was written by one of the patients he cared for.

Claire joins the Executive team at AET as PA to David Fuller and Ian Comfort and will manage the Northern Office, based at Gillbrook Academy in Middlesbrough. Claire has 17 year’s PA/secretarial experience and most recently has worked at Unity City Academy in Middlesbrough as Executive Assistant to the Principal and Clerk to the Governing Body for almost 7 years.

Ian Deans joined AET in April 2012 with a wealth of commercial and financial experience in major multi-site FTSE 100 companies. With a track-record of success in Healthcare (provision of elective hospital care and GP walk in centres with the NHS and the Department of Health), Hospitality (Intercontinental Hotels Group, Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza), Drinks industry (Britvic Soft Drinks and Scottish & Newcastle Breweries) and the fast moving consumer goods sector (TONKA toys).

Beverley is a member of the Executive Education team at AET full-time as Director of Challenge and Intervention. She previously served Headteacher and Director of Educational Strategy at Hasmonean High School (Girls). Recently, Beverley acted as Associate Principal of two academies in challenging situations leading on interventions in school improvement.

Lisa spent the early part of her career working as a PA / Administrator in the City. She has spent more than seven years working in the Education sector in a variety of roles. Lisa joins us from Southend High School for boys where she was the Key Stage 3 Administrator.

Mike is a member AET education team and leads on school self-evaluation for the AET, in particular the development of and support for academies on 'Accelerate Improvement' the AET's new school self-evaluation software package.

Before joining AET, Adam's most recent role was at Castle View School, Canvey Island where he worked as an ICT Technician. Originally an Apprentice Technician within the school he worked towards an ICT Practitioner NVQ Level 2. Adam was then employed by Castle View as a full time ICT Technician in June 2010 after acquiring the qualification.
