Greensward Academy Win Girls Football Quarter Final

The under 13 girls football team continued with their impressive performances on the pitch by winning their quarter final fixture against Stanway School. The girls started the game the better with plenty of flowing attacking football, constantly putting pressure on the Stanway defence and goalkeeper. Captain Zoe Willis broke the deadlock with a dazzling run slotting the ball past the keeper. Greensward kept the pressure on and within minutes were 2-0 up when Jess Harper broke free from the defence and lobbed the goalkeeper from 25 yards out.
